Our goal is to make Trinity a place for life-long learning, where profound and noble thought translates into profound and noble action. When we pursue relationships with God, and each other, there are many questions to ask and conversations to have. Often the answers we find generate more wonder and make demands on how we live. This is our aspiration for education.
Small groups are designed to promote spiritual discussion. These discussions enable us to know the love of God and experience the healing properties of Christ's Body. Sermons are applied to everyday living, and Christianity is practiced the way it was meant to be: in community.
Trinity Kids provides a safe place for children to learn about God, community and themselves. Babies are cared for, walkers play, preschoolers share and hear stories and the oldest class (4-10) try to enter stories through story, creative arts and a feast (feasting has less to do with the amount of food, than how thankfully it is received). Trinity kids happens during the 9:30am & 11:00am services.
Trinity Men provides a time of teaching and relationship. Together we are seeking an understanding of biblical masculinity ultimately modeled for us in the leadership of Jesus and supporting one another as we try to walk in this understanding.
Trinity Women provides a place for relationships among women to grow. We desire for women to experience support, encouragement, be united in love, and grow in biblical understanding. This happens through teaching and small group interaction.
Worship at Trinity exists to engage the whole person (Deuteronomy 6:5) in the expression of thanksgiving, praise and adoration of God. Our purpose is to encourage, instruct and challenge every believer to live a lifestyle of worship that expresses devotion and gratitude through every facet of life.
Lazarus is a ministry for the homeless. Our main purpose is friendship-to look the poor in the eye when most look the other way. There are several opportunities to get involved throughout the year. In addition to multiple large events, we take to the streets several times weekly to build relationships and pass out food items. Email for more information.
Vine City is an inner-city neighborhood with a rich heritage (located near Trinity and behind the Georgia Dome). As neighbors of this great Atlanta neighborhood, our intention is to show the love of Jesus to Vine City through a long-term partnership between Trinity and the community. Together, we participate in fellowship outings, service programs and mentorships. To participate or for more information on upcoming events and ongoing efforts, contact us via email.
In the Spring of 2007, Trinity entered into a long-term partnership with Joska's rural village located south of Nairobi, Kenya. Our purpose is to support Christian leaders in the village by empowering them to mobilize our resources (physical and financial) to meet the needs of Joska's residents. We accomplish this through child sponsorships, ministry outreach, work teams and community development. Email for more information about upcoming Trinity outreach efforts.
